US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta on Thursday condemned as "utterly deplorable" a video that appears to show US troops urinating on the corpses of Taliban fighters in Afghanistan and promised an investigation into the incident.

FRANCE: A new start for France's relations with Rwanda?

A new French inquiry into the assassination of former Rwandan President Habyarimana, which triggered the Rwandan genocide in 1994, could improve relations between France and Rwanda.
